SEP World LLC (previously First Florida Biofuels or FFB) is a private energy company registered in 2008 in Naples, Florida. The company was renamed SEP World (Sustainable Energy Partners World) in early 2010.
We have formed alliances with select technologists, founders, and owners who share our focus and interests. We work with our partners in strategic management and in establishing dialogues with potential collaborators in both the public and private sectors. Together our goal is to help create a cleaner, more efficient, more affordable, and more predictable energy future, in support of America’s long term national goal of energy independence and energy security.
Our partner companies offer propositions in more efficient distributed energy, biomass-to-energy, and other alternative sources of energy: wind, solar, biofuels, and algae. Our primary objective is to match these companies with potential investors, industrial partners, strategic partners, and customers - providing win-win opportunities for collaboration in "best-in-class" alternative and efficient energy initiatives.
The company's founders, Margret Chevalier, Sylvain Chevalier, Lucille Tymann, and Jack Tymann, came together in 2008 in support of this important goal.
Jim Kier joined our team in July 2011. The company’s officers bring a unique combination of global experience and management skills, and track records of success in all aspects of new business development. Working with carefully selected companies that offer viable (often disruptive) technologies and well-developed business plans, we apply our expertise in the identification, introduction, and launch of profitable alternative and higher efficiency energy initiatives.
